Camila Morrone - Biography
Camila Rebeca Morrone Polak is a Los Angeles, California-born model and actress. She made her acting debut in James Franco's unreleased film Bukowski.
She also appeared in the films Death Wish and Never Going Back, both of which premiered at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival in January.
Morrone is the son of Argentine actresses Maximo Morrone and Lucila Polak, better known as Lucila Solá. They split in 2006 after moving to Los Angeles, California, soon before her birth. From 2007 until 2015, her mother was in a long-term relationship with actor Al Pacino.
Despite the fact that they never married, Morrone refers to Pacino as her stepfather. Morrone received his high school diploma in 2015 from Beverly Hills High School.
Morrone has been married to actor Leonardo DiCaprio since 2017. They made their first public appearance as a pair at the 92nd Academy Awards in 2020, when he was nominated for Best Actor in a Leading Role for Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.
She began her modelling career and featured on the cover of the Turkish edition of Vogue in 2016. She debuted on the runway for Moschino's 2017 resort collection.
Morrone made her cinematic debut in Bukowski, a 2013 film directed by James Franco. In 2018, she made a comeback with the action thriller Death Wish and co-starred in Augustine Frizzell's directorial debut Never Going Back.
The latter was released by A24 after premiering at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival. Morrone said that she will concentrate her career on acting rather than modelling after being cast in Daisy Jones & The Six.
Morrone won the Rising Star Award at the San Diego International Film Festival on October 18, 2019.
